Just a Pair of Knock- off Keds

Circa 2012: Sydney, Australia. The picture is old seeing as the shoes look new.
The tale told of the worn and rugged shoes intent on joining in my travels abroad. The shoes and I were to journey in pair, documenting the travels with pre-Instagam snaps of a shoe + recognizable landmark photo.

That was, however, until the £5 knock-off keds ripped at the seams. The shoes have now found home in the depths of my storage closet. But the legacy of their story remains.
The Girl with the Traveling Blue Shoes documents my travels around the world, from a summer in Sydney, six months in Paris, a month in Thailand, two weeks in India and various trips in between. This blog takes you abroad in my shoes for my observations of and perspective on life in another country.
