First (and likely only) summer publication

As a writer, it never fails to excite when you see your own work published. And so my first publication from my summer internship-- the Terms and Conditions for commenting on the site!

I know, not a journalistic oeuvre. But you take what you can get when you're the English- speaking intern within the French- working environment. And if the newspapers aren't calling my name, then baruch hashem that at least the terms and conditions are.

I had based it off the company's original conditions, posted in French on their parent site.
I'll copy and paste the "piece" below. Let's call it, savoring the taste of applying the feature skills I'm attempting to develop, into the more serious, legal rights I was assigned to write.

The comments posted on TV-replay provide visitors with a venue to engage in conversation relating to the most recommended, most viewed and most debated online, TV programmes.
Listed below are the terms and conditions to ensure proper usage of our commentary function.
1/ Stay on topic. Keep your comment related to the TV programme listed. Write with style: proofread your comment and avoid spelling mistakes or short form writing.
2/ Respect the opinions of others. Comments provide a forum for pleasant and respectful conversation. Take your argument someplace else.
3/ Your comment is your responsibility. Comments must not violate laws and regulations. This includes, but not limited to, racist, anti-Semitic and defamatory comments, the advocation of crime or illegal activity and the disclosion of false, private, copyrighted and/ or trademarked information, images and files.
4/ No Spam, No Advertising. We do not permit spam nor advertising in any published comment.
While we strive to moderate all user commentary, please click "Report Abuse" should you come across user content that does not follow TV-replay’s terms and conditions.
TV-replay reserves all rights to review and remove any comments that violate both law and regulations, in addition to our terms and conditions.
